Henry goes pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

Henry has joined the fight against breast cancer by taking part in Breast Cancer Care’s Campaign flagship fundraiser, wear it pink day.

Breast Cancer Care (BCC) is the only specialist UK-wide charity providing support for women, men, families and friends affected by breast cancer. BCC provide a range of truly excellent services, including a free telephone helpline, an online forum, peer-to-peer support and expert advice and information.

Henry Bellingham MP says “On average, 534 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in my constituency of North West Norfolk every year. Sadly, on average, 120 women a year die from breast cancer in North West Norfolk. This is why we need to support Breast Cancer Care’s Campaign fundraising efforts to support world-class breast cancer research that saves and improves lives, giving people quicker diagnoses and more effective treatments. I hope you will all join me by wearing it pink on Wednesday 24th October and showing your support for breast cancer research.”
