MPs visit Sibelco’s Leziate site

The two local MPs Henry Bellingham and Elizabeth Truss recently visited Sibelco’s Leziate site for a tour of their sand operations and production facilities. They were also accompanied by local County Councillor Graham Middleton, as seen in the attached photograph; the tour was also attended by two Borough Councillors and representatives of Shouldham and Marham Parish Councils plus local residents

MP delighted the Prime Minister Wins confidence vote

Commenting on Wednesday’s confidence vote Henry said: “I am absolutely delighted the Prime Minister won the confidence vote on Wednesday night by 325 to 306. The Prime Minister can continue to work to deliver on our manifesto commitment to the people of this country to deliver on the result of the referendum and ensure we leave the European Union.”

Brexit update

Commenting on the latest Brexit developments Henry said: “As I am sure my constituents are aware, I voted for the Prime Minister’s Agreement on Tuesday night and it certainly was not that surprising that it was defeated by a large margin.

MP delighted by funding for our roads

Henry has expressed his delight at the news that Norfolk County Council has unveiled a £2million funding package to fix damaged roads in West Norfolk.

Local MP welcomes Prime Minister’s NHS announcement

Henry Bellingham MP for North West Norfolk said that he was very pleased indeed with the Prime Minister’s NHS announcement made earlier this week which is injecting another £20.5billion a year into the NHS by 2023-24.

MP backs Prime Minister

Henry Bellingham MP for North West Norfolk has said: “The Prime Minister has my full support at a time when she is in the middle of key meetings with different EU countries. Although the Prime Minister’s Withdrawal Agreement is far from perfect, it does give us the best hope of delivering a legal Brexit. I absolutely deplore this attempted coup against her.”
