Henry was very proud to be able to welcome the very bright and up and coming Local Government Minister Rishi Sunak to King’s Lynn on Thursday 7th March.

MP Commits to speaking up for people with Multiple Sclerosis in Parliament  

It is estimated 1,440 people are living with MS in Norfolk. MS is an incurable, progressive neurological condition, and it is currently not known what causes it. Some symptoms of MS can be seen or heard such as balance and speech problems. However, some symptoms of MS are invisible like fatigue and chronic pain.

On the day of the crucial Meaningful Vote Henry said he was now a lot more comfortable about the legal safeguards attached to the Northern Ireland Backstop.

MP speaks up for caravan parks in West Norfolk

Henry recently attended a debate on leisure park homes. The main purpose of the debate was to flag up the problem that arises when leisure parks have sites which are poorly managed, and where residents are unfairly treated.

Brexit update

Henry has praised the Prime Minister, the Attorney General and the Brexit Secretary for their determination to try and find a compromise on the Backstop which would ensure the Withdrawal Agreement gets through Parliament.

MP joins Dogs Trust campaign to stop puppy smuggling

Henry recently attended a drop-in session hosted by the Dogs Trust in Parliament where the charity was asking MPs to join its campaign to end the cruel practice of puppy smuggling.

MP bids farewell to RAF Tornado

On Monday 18th February Henry Bellingham MP for North West Norfolk asked Gavin Williamson MP, the Secretary of State for Defence, to pay tribute to the incredible crews who have manned the iconic Tornado aircraft at RAF Marham for the last forty years.
