2016 is bound to go down in history as one of the most extraordinary years of political change and unexpected events that we have ever seen. Indeed, at the start of 2016 you would be very hard pushed to find any serious political commentator predicting a strong vote in favour of Brexit in the UK, Donald Trump being elected as US President and the rise of nationalism and popularism across Europe.

Devolution and Mayor of East Anglia

On Thursday 17th November the Borough Council for King’s Lynn and West Norfolk at a Full Council meeting voted by 44 to 14 against the proposed Devolution Metro Mayor Agreement for Norfolk and Suffolk.
