Speaking in the House of Commons on Tuesday 30th April Henry paid tribute to King’s Lynn firm Snap-on Holdings for their incredible double success in winning two Queen’s Awards – one for Enterprise and the other for International Trade.

Snap-on employs 141 people in Lynn and has built up export markets in France, Poland, Italy and Spain, and is currently expanding operations in Africa and Asia. Commenting Henry said: “This is truly a remarkable success story and I am really delighted that they have been recognised by Her Majesty the Queen with two such prestigious awards. Snap-on really are a proud example of our local community making a huge contribution not just to West Norfolk but as an innovative and talented business to our growing economy.”

“They really are an example to other businesses in West Norfolk who are currently trying to build up their exports, because what Snap-on is showing is that increasing export markets create new jobs and generate funds for future investment.”
