Local MP welcomes Caroline Shaw’s permanent appointment as Chief Executive of the QEH

Commenting on the news that Caroline Shaw has been appointed the permanent Chief Executive of the QEH Henry said: “It really is very good news indeed that Caroline Shaw has now been made the permanent Chief Executive of the QEH. Indeed, she is exceptionally well qualified, and during her time as acting Chief Executive she won the respect and trust of staff and patients alike. This really is an important stage in the hospitals progress out of special measures.”

Henry  went on to say that: “Although it is obviously very disappointing that the QEH is still in special measures nevertheless, they do have a recovery plan in place and I am personally convinced both Caroline Shaw and the highly respected Chairman, Professor Steve Barnett will be able to deliver really positive progress.”
