MP Welcomes Coastal Grant

Henry said he greatly welcomed the £302,739 grant which the Department for Communities and Local Government are making available to promote the cultural heritage of Norfolk’s coast.

Commenting Henry said; “This stretch of coastline is an incredibly important part of West Norfolk’s local economy, where tourism is one of our biggest employers and wealth creators. We are seeing record numbers of people coming to the Norfolk coast, but this grant will help improve signage for walking and cycling as well as helping interactive technologies for promoting tourism."

Henry went on to say that he had invited the Coastal Communities Minister, Andrew Percy MP, to come and visit West Norfolk in the summer, so he can see for himself how much progress is being made here in West Norfolk.
