MP welcomes removal of overhead power lines

Henry has welcomed the £135,000 project to remove overhead power lines from a tranquil part of our coastline at Burnham Overy.

UK Power Networks is working with the Norfolk Coast Partnership to improve the truly beautiful scenery of this timeless landscape. With May being National Walking month, it is a timely boost for the roughly 10,000 walkers who use this distinctive part of the country each year.

Commenting Henry said: “The removal of these overhead power lines is truly fantastic news and will benefit locals and tourists alike who regularly use routes in and around Burnham Overy. Indeed, everyone will be able to appreciate the difference, with the view alongside the beautiful meadows of the River Burn greatly restarted and improved.”
