Henry recently attended a Parliamentary drop-in event hosted by Shelter. Shelter is the country’s largest housing and homelessness charity offering excellent advice to people across the UK.
Speaking in the House of Commons on Tuesday 30th April Henry paid tribute to King’s Lynn firm Snap-on Holdings for their incredible double success in winning two Queen’s Awards – one for Enterprise and the other for International Trade.
Henry was delighted to have been invited to visit Hutchinsons Crop Specialists in Wisbech. Hutchinsons is one of the leading national agricultural and horticultural input advice and supply companies in the UK – with a significant presence in East Anglia.
Henry has expressed his delight that medical supply company Merxin Ltd is looking to expand its King’s Lynn operations. The planned expansion is set to take place on Lynn's Hardwick Narrows Estate where Merxin currently have eight dedicated employees.
Speaking in the House of Commons, during Prime Minister’s Questions on Wednesday 3rd April, Henry asked the Prime Minister a question on the persecution of Northern Ireland veterans. Commenting on the latest Brexit situation Henry said: “Once again I voted for the Prime Minister’s Agreement, because although it is far from perfect, it does at least deliver a legal Brexit, and honours the Referendum result.
Commenting on the latest Brexit situation Henry said: “As someone who has voted twice for the Prime Minister’s Withdrawal Agreement, on the basis this is the best way of delivering both the referendum and my own pledges to my electorate, I am personally very sad that the Withdrawal Agreement has not gone through.”
Henry was very proud to be able to welcome the very bright and up and coming Local Government Minister Rishi Sunak to King’s Lynn on Thursday 7th March.
